Bishop Stephanie Stratford was consecrated into the Episcopacy of the Lord’s Church in April 2018. She is the establishmentarian and Lead Pastor of Ekklesia International which is headquartered in Brentwood, MD. She is the visionary and CEO of the Ekklesia International Network of Churches (EINC), which partners with churches and pastors located in the U.S., Nigeria, Liberia, South Africa and Kenya. EINC provides biblical, theological and leadership training for pastors and Kingdom leaders globally.
Bishop Stratford is a native of Washington, D.C., where she was educated in the public school system. She holds a Master of Ministry in Leadership degree from Richmond Virginia Seminary and has earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Virginia University of Lynchburg. Bishop Stratford has served the Body of Christ for 37 years.
She is married to Ekklesia’s first gentleman, Deacon Thomas Stratford, and says her greatest treasures are her seven children, five of whom she was blessed to home school for seven years. This allowed her the privilege of having them with her as she traveled the country evangelizing for the Kingdom of God.
Her theme scripture is Ephesians 4:11-13 (NLT), “Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.”
